The following tables are used in ''[[Mario Kart Wii]]'' to determine the probability of receiving an item when an [[Item Box]] is opened. Like in ''[[Mario Kart DS]]'', only the tables for the default case are stored in the game's files; in ''Mario Kart Wii'', it is known as the "Balanced" case. The probability is coded as percentage multiplied by two.
