It was released on February 13th, 2019 as an early bonus for players who have purchased the Special Episode DLC before its release on March 14th of the same year.

*This is the first level where Captain Toad and Toadette are both playable at once using the "Adventure for Two" co-op mode added to the Nintendo Switch version of the game. In every previous level, the second player plays as a purple Toad Brigade member.
*This is the only level where a Bonus Objective is related directly to posters, and also the only time the game actively acknowledges these posters, as opposed to simply having them as small extras within levels.
