It is explicitly stated that KP Koopas have the same abilities as normal Koopa Troopas, and they differ merely in coloration. As the [[Gold Star]], KP Koopas are called "'''Gold''' Koopas" in French and Italian; whereas, they are never referred to having yellow shells in any version of ''Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door''.
