'''Tadpoles''' are younger forms of the [[frogs]] in the game ''[[Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars]]''. For a while, [[Mallow]] thought that he was a Tadpole, as he was raised as one by [[Frogfucius]], and he grew up with other Tadpoles. However, Mallow turned out to be a [[Nimbus]] from [[Nimbus Land]].

The Tadpoles were visited by [[Mario]] and Mallow at [[Tadpole Pond]], where the hero met Frogfucius. The Tadpoles mainly serve as a bridge to allow Mario to cross over the pond. A pair of Tadpoles started shops in the western part of Tadpole Pond. One made a [[Frog Coin Emporium]], while the other started a [[Juice Bar]]. Both sell rare and helpful items sold nowhere else in the game.

One Tadpole near Melody Bay also states three songs in the game that he claims to be his favorite, which are actually the songs needed to be played at Melody Bay for [[Toadofsky]].
