And the biggest difference that I personally see is that unlike Fake Bowsers that serve as Bowser replacements only to fight, Impostor Bowser's main function is to completely impersonate Bowser, since Bowser is now playing, we are not talking about any replacement just for a fight or a castle, we are talking about the entire replacement of Bowser as an entity and enemy of Mario.
