If [[Ground Pound|pounded]], Spinning Platforms start rotating around their axis for a short time, allowing the [[Kong]]s to fall under them. They usually lead to hidden underground chambers or [[Bonus Area]]s, where the characters can find secrets. Spinning Platforms are semi-solid, meaning they can be walked on as on solid ground but can be crossed from beneath. Its spin can toss away and defeat any enemy stepping on the platform.

Spinning Platforms appear to work very similarly to the [[Flipper (object)|Flippers]] of ''[[New Super Mario Bros.]]''.
