They talk about the characters who are fighting in the match, including Mario, Luigi, Donkey Kong, Yoshi, Bowser, Peach, Wario, Diddy Kong, Dr. Mario, Rosalina, Bowser Jr., Daisy, King K. Rool, and Piranha Plant. If more than one opponent is in the match, the game will select one to talk about at random.
