Opponents that pass a space containing the [[Orb]] get flattened by a [[Thwomp]], ending their turn. In ''[[Mario Party 7]]'', it is reused for the same purpose. If a player is under the effect of the [[Metal Mushroom Orb]] the Thwomp will attempt to crush that player but it will be deflected, negating the roadblock.
