In this level, the player must first tag the [[Mini-Mario]] at the bottom, then help it get through a simple maze of red and yellow [[Flower Fan]]s which must be toggled with [[Color Switch]]es. The player must be careful on when to use the Color Switches as to avoid dropping the Mini-Mario into a pit of spikes. Once the Mini-Mario is guided to a higher portion of the level, it can be led to the east side, which can be eventually dropped into the locked door below.

The player can first jump to the yellow [[Color Switch]] and activate the first yellow Flower Fan so the first Shy Guy is carried upwards, then use it as a foothold to help Mini-Mario cross the spiked gap. Afterwards, the player must carry the second Shy Guy just above the second upwards red Flower Fan, then activate the red Color Switch to make it act as a foothold between two semisolid platforms.

The level's layout features a labyrinth of [[Color Block]]s and a single [[Flower Fan]]. To begin, the player must guide the [[Mini-Mario]] upwards using a Spring, then lead it to a higher ledge with a yellow Flower Fan to avoid it from following the player into a pit of spikes in the next step. Then, the player must use the red Color Switch to proceed through a yellow Color Block gate, and float across the spikes with a red Flower Fan.

Afterwards, the player must activate the blue Color Switch to safely cross to the Mini-Mario, who will also follow to the player as well. Then, the yellow Color Switch nearby can be activated, and the player must drop the Mini-Mario onto the yellow platforms below. That done, the player must activate the red Color Switch to float the Mini-Mario across the spikes below using a red Flower Fan. From there, the Mini-Mario can be dropped onto the lower ground safely, and then can be led to the locked door.

Once carried upwards by the first Flower Fan, the player must leave the Mini-Mario behind first within a red [[Color Block]] blockade, then activate the blue [[Color Switch]] to allow it to pass while the second Snapjaw ahead is climbing on the rope.
