Template:Space-infobox A Dash Space is an uncommon space that is first present in Mario Party 9 and then Mario Party: Island Tour and Mario Party 10.
History
Mario Party 9
When a player lands on a Dash Space, he or she will get to roll an extra time with the Normal Dice Block. If a Captain lands on another Dash Space after he or she lands on a Dash Space, then the Captain still get to roll the Dice Block an extra time. Special Dice Blocks cannot be used to modify these rolls.
Dash Spaces also appear during several Captain Events. This includes Scaredy Rat Race, in which the Scaredy Rat rolls 1-3 Dice Blocks instead of the standard 1-6 Dice Blocks after landing on these spaces.
Mario Party: Island Tour
Dash Spaces reappear in Mario Party: Island Tour as blue spaces with "+[number]" written on them. They have the same function as in Mario Party 9, but instead of rolling another Dice Block, the player moves the number of spaces displayed on the space.
Mario Party 10
Dash Spaces reappear in Mario Party 10 with the same function as in Mario Party 9. The fixed amount also appear in Bowser Party mode, and are known as Advance Spaces.
