| They can be found in large, hidden eggs on pages 2-1, 2-2, 2-3 and 2-4. Black [[Yoshis]] and [[White Yoshi]]s are the only Yoshis in ''Yoshi's Story'' that enjoy all the fruit, even the [[Red Pepper]]s. As well as these peppers, Black Yoshis can eat other things that the rest can't, such as [[Black Shy Guy]]s. Another special power they possess in ''Yoshi's Story'' is that they can fire eggs that explode in gigantic explosions, destroying more than one enemy at a time. Black Yoshi has a very low voice (the lowest of all the Yoshis in the game). One thing that should be noted is that if the player loses Black Yoshi, that the White Shy Guy can not retrieve him. The same goes for the White Yoshi.
