If you've played ''Donkey Kong'' on the Game Boy, there are some [[Template:DK|level articles]] in need of creation. There are also a few [[Template:Kingdom|''Mario Odyssey'' locations]] missing. [[Special:WantedPages]] usually lists articles with many red links that haven't been created yet, but the best way to starting finding articles to help with is to find articles about games you know well. You can try looking on the game page of a specific game then branch out from there.

As for formatting tips, one thing you might do often is piping links (changing the display text of a link): for example, <code><nowiki>[[Mario|Luigi's brother]]</nowiki></code> which becomes [[Mario|Luigi's brother]] (that is <code><nowiki>[[Article name|Display text]]</nowiki></code>). We generally do this for articles with parenthesised identifiers like [[Mario Kart (series)]] (<code><nowiki>''[[Mario Kart (series)|Mario Kart]]''</nowiki></code> which becomes ''[[Mario Kart (series)|Mario Kart]]'' - the "(series)" part should be hidden). In these cases, one helpful shortcut is simply typing <code><nowiki>''[[Mario Kart (series)|]]''</nowiki></code> (with the vertical bar at the end), which saves time and produces the same result after you've saved the edit (though this won't work in gallery captions). This is also nifty when creating interwiki links like <code><nowiki>''[[wikirby:Kirby's Return to Dream Land|]]''</nowiki></code> (this hides the "wikirby:" part in the link text). Speaking of, you can find prefixes for other wikis on [[Special:Interwiki]].

You can just use the 'Shroom email account that you use to submit your existing sections to submit the images as well! As long as it meets the guidelines of the contest, its fine. {{User:Lord Bowser/sig}} 06:49, March 1, 2021 (EST)

== RE: Hello ==
And a happy (belated) Mario Day to you as well, Kirbyo! I hope the day of the franchise's celebration treated you well. I know you asked about our Photo Contest, too, so I just checked, and it looks like you sent an email in but didn't attach the picture. If you want your submission to be a part of the contest, please make sure you send the picture itself attached to an email. You have until the 16th, so you have a few days left to resend it. I hope to see the shot you took! Have a nice day, Kirbyo. [[User:Hooded Pitohui|Hooded Pitohui]] ([[User talk:Hooded Pitohui|talk]]) 08:56, March 11, 2021 (EST)
:Photo successfully received! Thank you. We'll get this into the contest. I'll be looking forward to this month's ''Trivia''! [[User:Hooded Pitohui|Hooded Pitohui]] ([[User talk:Hooded Pitohui|talk]]) 14:25, March 12, 2021 (EST)
== RE: Quick Clarification ==
Usually you should ask your Team Director (in this case, Roserade) about something like this, since they're the ones who will put your section into their team and they know their schedules and what time they'll have to put their teams together. That said, a little late is fine. If writers are late here and there, we don't hold it against them as long as they let us know in advance and it doesn't become a habit. A little late is no problem. I know Rose's schedule fairly well. As long as you get it in by the end of the day on Tuesday, you should be fine! You can't just post 'Shroom sections before release. Blanking the page doesn't make the content invisible: previous revisions can still be viewed by the public. If you want to test code, use the "show preview" button while editing to see changes but '''don't''' click save changes. If you want to save your work before emailing it to Rose, then put in on a private google doc or Word document, but don't publicly post it. I've hidden the revisions you made to prevent the sections from being seen before release, though I copy-pasted your work before hand, so if you need it just email me and I'll send it. {{User:Doomhiker/sig}} 13:46, March 14, 2021 (EDT)

He has it in his hands (or should I say flowers?) now. Thanks for submitting it! And thank you for taking Doomhiker's advice. The preview function is a great luxury to have, to let writers check their coding without publishing their articles early. == RE: April ==
Hey, sorry! I didn't even realize I had a talk page until now, and I'm not very active on the Wiki. The best I could find for a mainline game releasing in April is Super Mario Land in Japan, or Mario Kart Wii in North America. Super Smash Bros. also came out in North America. I'm probably late on this, but I thought it might be interesting regardless. [[User:GPM1000|GPM1000]] ([[User talk:GPM1000|talk]]) 00:42, March 18, 2021 (EDT)

I'm working on it right now. You should see everything change over in the next few minutes on the main page and the box on your userpage! [[User:Hooded Pitohui|Hooded Pitohui]] ([[User talk:Hooded Pitohui|talk]]) 10:39, March 20, 2021 (EDT)
== RE: star... I mean 64 wars ==
Why, thank you! Although I must admit that I actually wrote that paper for a college class in the spring of 2020. I later mentioned it in a community Discord server and they told me to submit to the Shroom and so I did! I think it fits quite well there. I did put a lot of work into it when I originally wrote it of course (got an A too!). -- {{User:Luigi 64DD/sig}} 00:58, April 9, 2021 (EDT)
