'''World 4''' is a world found in the game ''[[New Super Mario Bros.]]''. This world is mainly jungle-based, and features [[Poison (obstacle)|poison]], which defeats the player with a single touch; regardless of what form they take. It has a total of twelve exits.

World 4 introduces a lot of new enemies, such as [[Wiggler]]s and [[Scuttlebug]]s. It also introduces [[Dorrie]]: a friendly creature who helps Mario travel along the toxic water. As with all the other worlds, [[Bowser Jr.]] is fought here in {{world-link|4|towern|World 4-Tower (New Super Mario Bros.)}}. The boss of this world is a [[Mega Goomba (boss)|Mega Goomba]], and defeating him will lead the player to [[World 5 (New Super Mario Bros.)|World 5]]. If the player were to use {{world|4|cannon}}, unlocked via {{world-link|4|ghostn|World 4-Ghost House (New Super Mario Bros.)}}'s secret exit, then they would reach [[World 7 (New Super Mario Bros.)|World 7]].
