'''Blooper Barrage''' is a boss [[minigame]] featured in ''[[Mario Party 9]]''. This minigame is similar to [[Balloonatic (minigame)|Balloonatic]] from ''[[Mario Party 7]]''.

The players must point and fire at Blooper while it is out of the ocean. After a few seconds of remaining above the ocean, Blooper will dive back down. Each successful hit earns the player one [[point]]. Blooper attacks by tossing [[Urchin]]s at the players. The Urchins can be shot down, and getting hit by one deducts a point from the player. Each time an Urchin is shot by a player, unless it is close enough to the player, it will head towards another. When Blooper loses half its [[Heart Point|health]], it will become enraged; it will move faster, shoot ink at parts of the screen to make it harder for the players to see, and toss more Urchins. The player who delivers the final attack earns three additional points, and the player who scores the most points wins.

Blooper moves around dazed and then explodes. The whirlpool dies down, and several [[Mini Star]]s appear in Party Mode and Story Mode.
