In Super Mario Odyssey, Turnips and their golden variants items are basically the same. The only difference in their functions is that one can give out a Power Moon while one doesn't. Otherwise, they're the same item. We don't split glowing, Power Moon giving Crates from the normal version, so why should we split this as well? This could just be simply mentioned on the main Turnip page instead. | In Super Mario Odyssey, Turnips and their golden variants items are basically the same. #Wikiboy10 Giving this a shot as well. It doesn't have enough information to split.
#7feetunder I think a good comparison would be the birds from Super Mario Sunshine. They drop different things when beaten, with the gold ones dropping a Shine Sprite. Therefore the difference between regular turnips and the golden ones is essentially the same as the difference between the green and gold birds.

Doesn't look like we split gold entities in Mario Party minigames such as in Chimp Chase or Treasure Trawlers (with those basic entities like Ukiki and treasure chest having articles) so this is a similar case. However, why would we split Coin Bag if its purpose is simply the same item but more? Also I always thought those crates had just a particle effect on them to indicate they hold a something, like buried patches on the ground; if those crates themselves were golden and were named then they'd probably get their own page? 00:55, June 23, 2022 (EDT) | Doesn't look like we split gold entities in Mario Party minigames such as in Chimp Chase or Treasure Trawlers (with those basic entities like Ukiki and treasure chest having articles) so this is a similar case. :The crates are actually just a bad example since I couldn't think of anything related at the time, though I'm pretty sure there's at least one better example in the game (would the small and big seeds count as a better example?). I just feel like this page is unnecessary since it's identical in everything other than appearance without that Power Moon pot in the plaza. 02:27, June 23, 2022 (EDT) | :The crates are actually just a bad example since I couldn't think of anything related at the time, though I'm pretty sure there's at least one better example in the game (would the small and big seeds count as a better example?).
