+I think there needs to be an alteration to option 1, which I'd only supports if this means redefining the ''Yoshi'' puzzle games (except ''Tetris Attack'') and ''Yoshi's Safari'' as ''Super Mario'' games. Mario is still the playable protagonist of ''Yoshi'', and he wields the Super Scope in ''Yoshi's Safari'', the core part of gameplay. Despite Yoshi's name in the game titles, just because he's used as a mascot doesn't necessitate the inclusion into his franchise. And it wasn't until "Yoshi's Island" when the Yoshis really began to star in their own game. Even then, however, "''Super Mario''" is in both the English and Japanese titles, and it's a sidescrolling platformer, so it could potentially be a ''Super Mario'' game altogether, but I digress. I checked the use of the "yoshi.nintendo.com" domain through Wayback Machine, and it was only really used for the ''Yoshi'' platforming games, like ''Topsy-Turvy'', ''Yoshi's New Island'', or ''Yoshi's Crafted World'' alike.
