'''Water Shooters''' are devices appearing in ''[[Super Mario Galaxy]]'' and its sequel, ''[[Super Mario Galaxy 2]]''. They look and function in a very similar manner to [[Squirt Nozzle]] used by [[F.L.U.D.D.]] in ''[[Super Mario Sunshine]]'', though Water Shooters are blue in color while [[F.L.U.D.D.]] is yellow, and the water produced is in the form of a [[bubble]], rather than a spray. These bubbles, while harmless, will capture Mario or Luigi and whisk them away on contact, generally serving as a hindrance, but occasionally are used to transport the player elsewhere. If Mario or Luigi are caught in a bubble, using the [[spin]] will break them out.

Water Shooters first appear in ''[[Super Mario Galaxy]]''. They appear in the [[Honeyhive Galaxy]], [[Sand Spiral Galaxy]], [[Buoy Base Galaxy]], and [[Deep Dark Galaxy]].

The Water Shooters also appear in the sequel, ''[[Super Mario Galaxy 2]]''. Here, they appear in the [[Space Storm Galaxy]]'s second mission, which is more or less based upon the [[Buoy Base Galaxy]]. They are in the first section with the fast-moving floor. They also shoot bubbles faster than before, though they can be slowed down with a [[ground-pound switch]]. They also appear in [[Starshine Beach Galaxy]] and [[Honeyhop Galaxy]].
