There are pyramids in the background and hieroglyph carvings in the cave levels. One of the enemies of this land are the stationary sphinxes called [[Gao]]s. The boss of the Birabuto Kingdom is a large Gao named [[King Totomesu]], who jumps up and down spitting fire. Common enemies found here include [[Goombo]]s, [[Bombshell Koopa]]s, [[Kumo]]s, [[Fighter Fly|Flies]], [[Bunbun]]s, [[Pakkun Flower]]s, and Gaos.
