The '''{{wp|United Kingdom}}''' ('''UK''' for short, and officially known as the '''United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland''') is a country in {{wp|Western Europe}} consisting of {{wp|England}}, {{wp|Scotland}}, {{wp|Wales}}, and {{wp|Northern Ireland}}. It is the main setting of ''[[Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games]]'' and a featured location in several other games.

Like all golf courses, it has 18 holes. The UK is the largest of all five courses and has more obstacles. The background music played sounds like bagpipes being blown.

In ''[[Mario is Missing!]]'', Luigi visits one city in the United Kingdom on his quest to rescue Mario, the capital city of [[London]]. London is visitable in all three versions of the game: the [[:Category:MS-DOS Games|MS-DOS]], [[Super Nintendo Entertainment System|SNES]], and [[Nintendo Entertainment System|NES]] versions. Several notable landmarks are visited, including the [[Tower of London]], [[Westminster Abbey]] and [[Big Ben]]. Luigi must also return famous artifacts back to the three landmarks - the crown jewels from the Tower, a Shakespeare bust from Westminster Abbey, and Big Ben's minute hand.
