Spike is a character in Leaping Lizards. He is an armadillo who is a member of the Sneaks, who are competing in the International Mushroom Games. When Feldspar introduces each of the teams, he introduces the Sneaks as the "Snakes," and Spike taps him on the shoulder to correct him. During the Beetlebowl, Spike grabs a Hoopster from Lemmy Koopa's hands and replaces it with a rotten melon that contains a bomb.
