Dad's Work is the last level in Blubble Lake in the Bowser Jr.'s Journey mode of Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story + Bowser Jr.'s Journey.

OverviewEdit

Bowser Jr., Kamek, Iggy, and Ludwig spot Larry and Lemmy, who tell them that Bowser had been crushed by the Tower of Yikk and were trying to save him. However, Bowser then grows giant and begins his battle with the tower, with Bowser Jr. pondering if this is what Starlow meant by Bowser working hard. Larry and Lemmy attempt to back up Bowser, despite Kamek's and Ludwig's warnings that Bowser was completely unaware of their presence. Bowser Jr. attempts to save them, but gets ambushed by several Fly Guys and Bob-ombs. After clearing away the enemies, Bowser Jr. risks his life to save Larry and Lemmy from getting crushed by the Tower of Yikk in the nick of time. After Bowser defeats the tower, the group loses sight of him again. Bowser Jr. apologizes to Larry and Lemmy for his behavior earlier, and together they set off for Bowser's Castle to find the remaining Koopalings.

This is one of the three levels where the boss theme plays despite the level not having an actual boss. The other two are "Get the Giga-carrot", and "The Power of the Koopalings".
