My Application To Write For The Shroom

4. Here is my demo section of how I would write in the Critic Corner. I would like to have the "Character Comparison" position.

Hiya guys! It's Tommy 8353 here and welcome to another Character Comparison! Today we will be looking at Mario and his evil counterpart, Wario! Differences will be a breeze here, but the similarities will be a bit tough!

"'Similarities"'

Well,.....they both wear a cap and overalls! They are different colors, though. The way they both dress is very similar.

They both wear overalls with button-straps, and they both wear a cap with a logo of the first letter in their name. An "M" for Mario and a "W" for Wario. Though I do believe that the "W" is actually just an upside down "M". Now why would that be??? It literally looks the same because it is symmetrical. I think that because Waluigi's logo is an upside down "L" so that's why Wario's is just an upside down "M", but we never noticed that because an "M" is symmetrical.

Another similarity is that they both seem to love food. With Wario, it's obvious. Mario, on the other hand, is a little less more food-desiring then Wario, but they still love food! Like in the opening cutscene in Super Mario Sunshine, when he is shown a preview about the food on Isle Delfino, Mario springs up instantly and has hearts in his eyes.

"'Differences"'

Right off the bat is the way they dress. Mario wears a red cap, blue overalls, yellow buttons, and brown shoes. Wario wears a yellow cap, purple overalls, white buttons, and green shoes. Mario's appearance is more casual than Wario, while Wario dresses with odd colors that do not go together well, and his overall appearance is just flat out wacky.

The two's personality are totally different. Mario is usually nice and calm, as he risked his life many, many times to rescue the girl of his dreams, Princess Peach. And then there is the mean, impatient, greedy Wario. Wario treats everyone except food and money with disrespect. He even pushes his partner Waluigi around when he isn't doing what he is supposed to. He also seems to get angry very easily, and when he does, he has trouble controlling it. Also, he doesn't just verbally abuse people, because he also has super strong muscles on him. He will punch and thrust to get his way.

Wario is strong. No, I mean, like, "very" strong. I know for one thing that Mario does not have that type of strength. If you look at Wario's arms while he is flexing, you will find out that his muscles are GIGANTIC! Mario doesn't have this kind of a body, sure, Mario can be strong too, but Wario just has it majorly. I wouldn't want to make any contact with Wario's muscular arms, no way, no sir.

Okay that was my demo. Now since it was just a demo for the application, my section would be much longer if I were actually writing for the Shroom. Please consider hiring me to write in the Shroom! I would really be bummed if I didn't get the part, so I hoped you liked my application! Thank you!
