The Star Travel Bus cannot be killed. The only way to harm a Star Travel Bus is to run into it while using a star, or to hit it with a Chain Chomp or Bowser Shell.
The Star Travel Bus is slightly more dangerous than the standard cars, for the bus is longer and can cause you to wipe out up to three times.
