The '''Lava Arena''' is a Boss Course in ''[[Mario Kart DS]]''. The [[player]] can only go on it when facing ''[[King Boo]]'' in Mission Mode, and is not playable any other time (though the player may do that mission at any time). In order to beat this mission, the player must collect all the 50 [[coins]] while avoiding [[King Boo]]. However, at a few points he will take most of the player's coins and make all the others disappear. To regain them all, the player must corner King Boo and bump him twice. After obtaining all 50 coins, [[King Boo]] is defeated and the mission ends.
