Double Vision is a 2-vs.-2 minigame in Mario Party DS. The title is a pun on the name of the condition of seeing two of the same object at once.

Gameplay

On the bottom screen, there is a picture of an enemy (which can be a Goomba, Cheep Cheep, Boo, or Wiggler) made up of lines of two colors. The player must trace the lines of their color, while their teammate must trace the other color. When the time is up, the tracings receive a score for accuracy. The team with the higher score wins.

Controls

  • Stylus – Trace

In-game text

  • Rules – "You and your partner share tracing duties as you re-create an image. Trace only lines that match your color. You'll earn points for good tracing."
  • Tips – "You can trace more accurately to get more points by going slowly. But if you go too slowly, you may not finish in time, and your score will be lower."
