Toadsworth: Difference between revisions

Toadsworth is the umpire in ''[[Mario Power Tennis]]'' and its ''[[New Play Control!]]'' version, where he sits on a high chair and watches characters play. He reminds "not to respond a serve before it bounced once", whenever it is done. During the opening cinematic, Toadsworth is seen at the upper barracks of the [[Peach Dome]] with Peach standing by his side during the night of the final match. After Toadsworth announces the remaining contenders, Mario and Luigi against Yoshi and Donkey Kong, Wario and Waluigi in league with Bowser arrive after Yoshi and Donkey Kong fail to show up, which catches Toadsworth off guard. Further turmoil ensues as explosives fly all over the venue, and Toadsworth catches a glimpse of a horde of explosives stowing aboard the underside of Bowser's balloon.

In the [[Super Smash Bros. (series)|''Super Smash Bros.'' series]], there are several items of Toadsworth. In ''[[Super Smash Bros. Brawl]]'', there is a [[Trophy (Super Smash Bros. series)|trophy]] of him, as well as two [[Sticker (Super Smash Bros. Brawl)|stickers]] of him, both of which can applied to any fighter in [[smashwiki:Adventure Mode: The Subspace Emissary|The Subspace Emissary]]; one of the stickers, depicting Toadsworth's artwork from ''[[Super Mario Sunshine]]'', boosts the attack power of its user by 10 points, while the other, depicting Toadsworth from ''[[Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time]]'', increases the user's launch power by 5 points. In ''[[Super Smash Bros. for Wii U]]'', there is another trophy of Toadsworth, unlockable by defeating at least eight fighters in [[smashwiki:Cruel Smash|Cruel Smash]]. In ''[[Super Smash Bros. Ultimate]]'', Toadsworth appears as a Novice-class support [[Spirit (Super Smash Bros. Ultimate)|spirit]] which occupies one support slot, and players equipped with the spirit will start battles with a [[Ramblin' Evil Mushroom]]. The puppet fighter of the Toadsworth spirit is [[Mario]] on the [[Princess Peach's Castle (Super Smash Bros. Melee)|Princess Peach's Castle]] stage.
