Issa Rock[2] is a character in Mario & Luigi: Brothership. She has yellow skin and green eyes, and she wears a rock-like hat and orange apron. Found on Shipshape Island, Issa Rock keeps track of the number of rare reefs Mario and Luigi find, and she rewards them when they discover enough.[2] She also builds statues based on the reefs on Shipshape Island and writes poetry about them. Her name is a phonetic reading of "is a rock."
