The Blue Coin Shop is a place in Super Mario Sunshine. It is run by two Tanookis. Whenever the player collect ten Blue Coins, the player can trade them in for a Shine Sprite. Shine Sprites acquired this way don't help to beat the game, but they can help in unlocking new levels or finishing the game with a 100% rating.
After Mario got his third Shine Sprite, the house of the shop vanished for a Goopy Piranha Plant to take its place. After Mario defeated it, the house rose out of the Goop again. Shadow Mario created a Rainbow Goop signature on the house's wall opening a gate to Ricco Harbor.
