This proposal is about creating a <nowiki>{{rewrite-remove}}</nowiki> derivative of the template. It's the opposite of the <nowiki>{{rewrite-expand}}</nowiki> template, since it would request certain parts be removed from the page. The reason I'm creating this proposal is because [[MarioWiki:Proposals/Archive/61#Merge certain non-Mario fighters from the Super Smash Bros. series into game-specific lists and trim away detailed special move information for all non-Mario fighters|this passed proposal]], where special move has to be trimmed from the remaining crossover character articles. Tagging it with the Rewrite template won't work, since it's being removed (and probably condensed to single sentences like other fighter pages), not rewritten.
