Daytripper

Royal Racer (known as Daytripper in North America) is a medium-sized vehicle found in Mario Kart Wii. The kart resembles an old-fashioned coach in the shape of a curled slipper. Due to the Royal Racer's appearance and North American name, it might be the successor of the Light Tripper from Mario Kart DS.

The bike counterpart for this kart is the Bon Bon, which is available from the start, unlike the Daytripper, which can be unlocked by winning the 150cc Leaf Cup. The Royal Racer and Bon Bon are the only pair of counterparts in which one vehicle is a starter, while the other is an unlockable.
