How to upload a file

Okay, this is how you upload a file. First, follow the link which says Upload file. This can be found on the sidebar under "toolbox". Next, you will reach a form which requires several fields to be filled. Let's start from the top. The first field (or box) requires you to find a file to upload. This can be done by clicking the "Browse" button, where you are able to search your computer files for the image you wish to upload. After you've found it, click "open" and you will be brought back to the file page. The image you selected can now be seen already preloaded. The box directly below the first, on the other hand, can be used to upload an image directly from a website rather than from your computer. (personally, I find it easier to upload images from my computer).

After you have done either of the above, the third box down will specify the "destination filename". This should be filled automatically after entering a file in one of the first two boxes, so don't worry about it too much. The fourth box down contains a code for the template {{Aboutfile}}. This is used to neatly lay out information about an image. For instructions for correctly formatting the template, see instructions at {{Aboutfile-reminder}}. After you have formatted Aboutfile, you should also put in the box a category to tag the image with for the game it pertains to. For example, if you were uploading an image related to the game Mario Kart Wii, you would tag the image with [[Category:Mario Kart Wii Images]].

The next box is a drop-down menu, which contains many licenses to tag the image with. Picking a license should be easy; just pick a description which most suits the image you are uploading. Wondering why an image even needs a license? See here! So after you have selected a license, you will see two check boxes. One says "Watch this file", which if left checked, will add the page to your watchlist. The second checkbox will ignore any warnings/cautions when in the process of uploading a file. Warning can include notifications about a duplicate file already on the wiki, or if the file is too large (above ten MB). I recommend that you leave it unchecked.

And finally, when you have completed all above instructions, you are ready to upload! Do this by clicking the big button that says "Upload file". After the image is uploaded to the wiki, you can go ahead and put it on articles. See Help:Image if you don't already know how to do this. Also, if you are uploading an image that you wish to use on your userspace only, then tag it with
{{personal-image|Electrical Bowser jr.}} instead of a category. See MarioWiki:Personal images for further info on that subject.

Additionally, you can also upload a new version of an image by following said link on an already existing file. The upload form is much the same as when normally uploading a file, but instead you replace the "Aboutfile" text with a reason for the reupload (example, "larger" or "better quality"). After reuploading, just refresh the page so the new version of the image appears immediately. Also, you can revert a file to an earlier version by clicking the "revert" link on a "file history" section of a file. But only do this when necessary.

I'm neutral on your nomination, because I don't have Mario Kart 7, therefore I wouldn't know if there was anything I could suggest for the article. Sure! Here are the pieces:

W2-1: You need to jump down to the quicksand between two cactuses. Somewhere in the middle of the level.
W2-2: It's on the giant Yoshi's tounge. When reaching the goal, go to a room to the left and you'll end up on the Yoshi's eyes. Slide down to the chest and you'll fight Kamek.
W2-4: Use Vaccuum to get rid of the strong wind and you'll need the Tap/Faucet on a vase. After that, go in a house and the last piece is in a closet.
