Isle Delfino Police

The title of this article is conjectural; an official name for the article's subject has not been found, so it has been given a fitting title by the editors. If an official name is found, then the article should be moved to its appropriate title.

The Delfino Police are two policemen encountered during the events of Super Mario Sunshine. They arrested Mario because they thought he was the one responsible for all the graffiti around the whole island, when actually it was Shadow Mario. They told Mario to clean the whole island's graffiti, and it was not until the plumber's task of this was done that he could leave Isle Delfino. They look very similar to normal Piantas, but have police caps, which have logos of Shines on them.

Trivia

• Near the beginning of the game, when Shadow Mario tries to kidnap Princess Peach, and Mario chases him down, they run right by the Delfino Police, who seem oblivious to this; for the entire course of the game, they still think Mario responsible for the graffiti and tell him not to slack off.
