If I recall correctly, we don't have templates just for users. Should this be deleted? The preceding unsigned comment was added by Reversinator (talk).
Really? A notice template for users only? If is mainly user oriented, I say we should delete. And if you really want a template like this, I suggest you make it yourself in your userpage. If you can make it yourself in your userpage, then I say this template is useless.

BabyLuigiOnFire (talk) There's really no reason to have this template if you can make it yourself. And notice templates should be just mainspace only.
LeftyGreenMario (talk) Although it is funny, it doesn't help the wiki in any way. Besides, we can make our own templates, right?
Mariomario64 (talk) A few days back, I was actually thinking of making a proposal or something to delete this, since it seems kinda useless. Per BLOF and LGM.
Bop1996 (talk) My initial reaction went something like, "What about all those users that are using this template?" After I used the "What Links Here" button however, I discovered that the only user using it is Walkazo, and she's returning before the deadline of this TPP... So yeah, I think there is not a good reason to keep it.
BoygeyDude (talk) People are still using this. :/ Per all. :)
Mario Fan 123 (talk) People still use this, and a category special for user-related templates should be created. Per all.
Tom The Atum (talk) Per every single user saying don't delete. I am going to use it soon as I am going on vacation this Friday.
Walkazo (talk) - Per all. Having an official way to say "hey, I'm not here currently" is a nifty idea: I've used it twice, and I'm sure more people would if they knew about it (or at least the folks who don't have customized status templates and don't want to muck about with coding on the eve of their departure).
Fawfulfury65 (talk) The template doesn't harm us in any way. It simply lets everyone know that a certain user can't be online in a while. Plus, even if it is hardly used, it will save more space to have everyone use the template than to write it all out on their userspace. I'm sure if it got more attention, it would be used more often.
Commentary
It can't be used in mainspace? Why Mario no get vacation time? XzelionETC
If this is deleted, does that mean {{Gone}} is deleted, too. I need that template in case I get angry again! DKPetey99TCE
Probably. Just create a status box in your userpage and say that you're gone. You don't need that template unless you're lazy, but laziness is bad. Ray Trace(T|C)
FF65 said statuses aren't allowed anymore! Let me think about it, okay? DKPetey99TCE
No, it's the "template" as a separate userpage that aren't allowed. There's no rule saying you cannot implement it into your userpage. Ray Trace(T|C)
Since it's pending deletion, I will put up the to be deleted template. DKPetey99 19:43, 12 May 2011 (EDT)
@Supporters - Well, the reason that Walkazo is the only user that is currently using the template is because she's probably the only user who's gone right now. Of course it's not going to be used by everyone at the present moment, I mean, what are the odds that everyone goes on vacation (or wherever) at the same exact time? Also, anyone can recreate any template on their userpage if they know the coding for it, that doesn't mean that we should get rid of every template because of that... Phoenix (talk) 19:50, 14 May 2011 (EDT)
But I don't understand the point of having a template like this if we can just make it ourselves. And notice templates should be reserved mainly for main space. Of course it does no harm, but it is not beneficial either, unlike the rest of the other notice templates. Ray Trace(T|C)
What says notice templates should be preserved just for the mainspace? It is beneficial, as, if people would actually use it, it would let people know when they're going and when they'll be back. If we had to make it ourselves, that could be too difficult for some users, and way too much hard work. This is much more efficient.

@Supporters-Then I say to delete the stub template since we can just copy the code on your userpage. I say to delete the warning template since you can just copy the code on your userpage. And so on.
The challenge is finding a sysop to agree with you. Try that! Look here.
