- Nintendo has announced a new Mario Tennis for the Nintendo 3DS and a new color for the handheld called Mystic Pink, that will be released in Japan on November 20, 2011. New information regarding Super Mario 3D Land and Mario Kart 7 was revealed as well.
- The Flame Red Nintendo 3DS (pictured) was released in North America on September 9, 2011 for the price of $169.99.
- Golf for the Game Boy was released on the 3DS Virtual Console in North America on September 8, 2011.
- According to Gematsu, a new Yoshi game seems to be in development for the Nintendo 3DS by Good-Feel.
