Template:Minigame-infobox Coney Island is a 4-player minigame found in Mario Party 5.
The mini-game takes place atop a statue of Mario holding an ice cream cone. This is a reference to the Statue of Liberty located in New York City, USA.
This mini-game's object is to catch the scoops ice cream that fall from above by moving to where their shadow is. The player with the biggest ice cream cone at the end of the thirty-second time limit (and therefore, the one who caught the most ice cream) is the winner. There is a variety of ice cream flavors in this mini-game, from vanilla to mint, and from chocolate to possibly orange. Here's a list of ice cream colors and their respective flavors:
- Light yellow: Vanilla.
- Green: Mint.
- Orange: Either Peach, Orange or a similar fruit.
- Brown: Chocolate
- Maroon: This looks like a popular mix between Berries & Cream.
- Yellow & brown: Most probably Vanilla and Chocolate together.
- Blue: Possibly Blue Raspberry.
As the player's pile of ice cream becomes bigger, it will be harder for him or her to walk and turn, making it more difficult to catch the falling scoops of ice cream. At the end of the minigame, the winning player's ice cream cone shrinks to an edible size for a reward along with the ten coins. This mini-game takes on top of a giant Mario statue, which is holding a giant ice cream cone. The player position themselves on the cone. Behind them in a beautiful scenery of delicious cookies and sweets.
