This article is for the Fuzzy first found in Super Mario World. For the Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island Fuzzy, see Fuzzy (Yoshi's Island)

Fuzzies first appeared in the Super Nintendo video game, Super Mario World.

Sub-Species

Paper Mario Stats and Tattle Information

Regular Fuzzy

  • HP: 3
  • Attack: 1
  • Defense: 0
  • Location: Koopa Village
  • Tattle: This is a Fuzzy. Why do Fuzzies always Jump up and down? They need to chill out! The problem with Fuzzies is their quickness. It's really tough to time their attacks. If they latch on to you, watch out! They'll absorb your HP.

Forest Fuzzy

  • HP: 6
  • Attack: 1
  • Defense: 0
  • Location: Forever Forest
  • Tattle: This is a Forest Fuzzy. Forest Fuzzies are always green. If they grab hold of you, they'll absorb your HP and add it to their own. The fiends! Those no good... Oh! And they sometimes divide. If they divide they become even stronger, so try to beat 'em before they can split.

Jungle Fuzzy

  • HP: 7
  • Attack: 2
  • Defense: 0
  • Location: Lavalava Island
  • Tattle: This is a Jungle Fuzzy. Jungle Fuzzies are very similar to other Fuzzies, but they live in the jungle, so... ...that's their name. They cling to you, suck out your HP and add it to their own. What a sleazy move! They won't stop clinging to you unless you tear 'em off with the action command. They also occasionally divide, so let's beat 'em before they get the chance.

Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door Stats and Tattle Information

Regular Fuzzy

  • HP: 3
  • Attack: 1
  • Defense: 0
  • Locations: Shhwonk Fortress, Glitzville, Pit of 100 Trials (Levels 1-9)
  • Tattle Number: 50
  • Tattle Log: A parasite that sucks up its opponent's HP to replenish its own. Fuzzies are so hyper that it's hard to time your Guard Action Command.
  • Tattle: That's a Fuzzy. What a hyper little guy, huh? Cut back on the caffeine! Those things suck up your HP and use it to replenish their own! Isn't that the worst? I mean, EW! Doesn't that just sound totally gross? Anyway, guard against them by pressing A the MOMENT they release you. The timing is pretty hard to master, so, uh, practice up! These things really suck... HP.
  • Other: Sometimes a Paper Mario 2 Fuzzy is found holding a HP Drain.

Flower Fuzzy

  • HP: 6
  • Attack: 3
  • Defense: 0
  • Locations: Glitzville, Keelhaul Key, Pit of 100 Trials (Levels 31-39)
  • Tattle Number: 53
  • Tattle Log: A Fuzzy with lovely coloring. It'll suck your FP and attack with magic when full.
  • Tattle: That's a Flower Fuzzy. Wow, what a totally pretty Fuzzy, don'tcha think? This thing attacks by boinging in and sucking out FP. How uncool! We need FP! Once it charges up its own FP, it uses magical attacks. Better beat it before it does. Oh! I just got it! It's a Flower Fuzzy because it sucks your FP (Flower Points)! Duuuuuuh! Hee hee!
  • Other: Some FLower Fuzzies wield Shooting Stars to help them fight Mario.

Fuzzy Horde

  • HP: 20
  • Attack: 1
  • Defense: 0
  • Location: Shhwonk Fortress
  • Tattle: It's a Fuzzy Horde! Look at 'em all! What a mob scene! It's crazy! Fuzzies come at you all at once and attack in order. Sys here not to freak out! It also says that if you use good timing to defend, you won't take much damage. I'm thinking it might just be faster to whip the ringleader, though, y'know?
  • Other: After taking between 10 and 15 damage, what's left of the Fuzzy Horde will flee.

Gold Fuzzy

  • HP: 10
  • Attack: 1
  • Defense: 0
  • Location: Shhwonk Fortress
  • Tattle Number: 51
  • Tattle Log: A gold-colored Fuzzy that attacks by charging at you. Unlike normal Fuzzies, it won't drain your HP.
  • Tattle: That's a Gold Fuzzy. Whoa, those are super-rare! I'm serious! Wow! Oh, but hey! Even though it's a Fuzzy, it won't suck up your HP, which is nice. I have to wonder though... How does this thing hide? Look at it! It's so gaudy!

Green Fuzzy

  • HP: 5
  • Attack: 2
  • Defense: 0
  • Locations: Glitzville, Keelhaul Key
  • Tattle Number: 52
  • Tattle Log: This minty fuzzy replenishes its HP as it drains yours. And it can multiply.
  • Tattle: That's a Green Fuzzy. As you can see, it's a Fuzzy, and it's green. Duh! This is similar to a normal Fuzzy, so it replenishes its own HP as it sucks out ours. EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW... That is just the grossest thing ever. ...If you don't find that idea gross, seriously, there's something wrong with you. The main difference between this and other Fuzzies is that this one multiplies. You know, I bet this thing would look great sitting next to a Gold Fuzzy.
  • Other: The Green Fuzzy's multiplying attack can be abused for extra Star Points.
