- A Nintendo Direct for announcements regarding the Super Mario Bros. 35th Anniversary was released on September 3, 2020, featuring newly announced games Game & Watch: Super Mario Bros., Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury, Super Mario Bros. 35, Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit, and Super Mario 3D All-Stars. On the same day, Super Mario All-Stars was made available on Super Nintendo Entertainment System - Nintendo Switch Online.
