Electrified is a status effect encountered in the Paper Mario series. It is indicated by small lightning bolts emanating out of Mario. Any enemies that touch him physically will take 1 HP of damage. Mario receives this status effect usually by eating a Volt Shroom, though there is a Badge called Zap Tap in both Paper Mario and Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door than can equip this status effect permanently.
