Clothing are items in the Mario & Luigi series that serve much like armor in other RPGs. Clothing mainly exists to boost defense power, but some clothes boost other stats as well.

3 60% chance of evading the Poison status.
4 Randomizes gravity for each attack to either Normal, Heavy or Light.
5 More Mushrooms in your possession means more frequent Lucky hits.
6 Luigi's turn will always come right after Mario's.
7 Automatically recovers 2 HP every turn.
8 Luigi's turn will always come right before Mario's.
