Domino Effect is a 4-Player and Duel minigame found in Mario Party DS. It is also the second minigame of Score Scuffle.
Gameplay
Players compete through a row of planks that fall gradually one behind another (as a "domino effect," thus giving the minigame its name). Contestants must jump over each plank, pressing the respective button shown above the plank. If a player pushes the wrong button, they will be stopped for a few seconds until they can start hopping again. If a player falls off with planks knocking, they will be out for the rest of the minigame. The player who arrives to the finish first is the winner. If all the players fall off with the planks knocking or if everyone arrive to the finish at the same time for both variants, they all lose and the minigame results in a tie.
As with all minigames with a record system, if everyone breaks the current record in both variants by tying, it counts as a new record even though neither player won, as the screen will say "Tie" after the "New Record" fanfare.
