Tetris Shima is an island that only appears in the third chapter of the Super Mario Land 3 manga.
Desiring a rematch with Mario after his previous defeat, King Tetris invites him, Luigi, and Peach to his island. Mario and his friends quickly departs on the Marine Pop, but they then realize they have no idea where Tetris Shima is located. A young whale named Chanchako explains to them that his mother was frozen by King Tetris and the surrounding ice was reworked into the Tetris Shima and lead them to it.
The island, in fact, it is just a simple iceberg with two ice rinks and a mountain in the middle from which Tetriminos falls down onto the second rink, which has two ice hockey goals. The only inhabitants are polar bears serving King Tetris (which are later revealed to be Tetris Ningen in disguise). Once arrived, King Tetris challenge all four of them at Ice Hockey Tetris, first by trying to trap them in the first rink by tossing Tetriminos at them, but Mario manages to clear the row and make the blocks disappear. Then, in the second rink, he offers another challenge: a multiplayer game of Tetris, but the teams have to score a Tetrimino into their goal before placing it on their screen. Mario eventually wins, despite the King's cheating, and the island breaks, freeing Chanchako's mother, who send King Tetris flying in the air thanks to her blowhole.
