Type Duel minigame
Time limit 60 seconds

Slappy-Go-Round is a Duel minigame in Super Mario Party Jamboree. The name is a pun on the term "merry-go-round."

IntroductionEdit

In an arena, a large mechanical hand swings to the left and then to the right before stopping. As the players take their places on two silver buttons, a Hammer Bro rings a bell.

GameplayEdit

Each player must ground-pound a button to activate the hand and slap their opponent. If a player jumps over the hand, it will automatically slap the player who activated it. The minigame ends after either a player has taken damage five times or 60 seconds have passed. The remaining player, or the player with the lower amount of damage taken after time runs out, wins.

EndingEdit

The winning player performs their victory animation for the crowd as the losing player performs their defeat animation.

ControlsEdit

  •   – Jump
  •     – Ground Pound

In-game textEdit

Do a Ground Pound to spin the hand and hit your opponent, and dodge it with a jump. If your opponent dodges, the hand hits you. If you get hit five times, you lose!
