Implied Characters
Wouldn't these people still be characters in Mario's fictional universe? Our "people" articles are about real life people, but these are references made in the fictional universe. For example, we have an article on Elvis Presley. The article is about him as a fictional character, not as a real person, because the real Elvis did not act in the show, or design a video game, or do any voice acting ('cause he's dead of course). So I feel these "people" should be moved to the List of Implied Characters page, as they exist in the fictional universe, not real people who worked on the games, cartoons, etc. -- Son of Suns (talk)
- Something that I'm very adamant about is that the real world, our nonfictional planet, is different from the "Real World," where Mario's Time Machine, Mario is Missing!, and The Super Mario Bros. Super Show! live action segments took place. Though there are many similarities, there are also many differences. For example, Mario and Luigi aren't real people, Cher never had her brain switched with that of her dog, etc. Admittedly, the instruction manual to one of the endutainment titles stated that the game took place in our/your world, but we must point out we have no confirmation that all the countries, all the conflict, and all the events of our world take place on the "Real World." However, I don't think it's necessary to merge both pages, although I wouldn't block such a movement either. Stumpers! 18:44, 22 December 2008 (EST)
