Feathers are the soft quills found in Super Mario World. They can grant Mario or Luigi the ability to turn into Cape Mario. When in this form, Mario or Luigi can temporarily fly and climb to great heights. Feathers are usually found in yellow ! Blocks and rarely found right in the open.
