Motley Bossblob
Motley Bossblob is a character from Super Mario 3D World. Here, he serves as the mini-boss who blocks certain area. He is revealed in the "10 New Things in Super Mario 3D World" Trailer.
Pattern
The boss appears as he gathers the blobs together to become a big, metallic clown. Shortly after transformation, he attempts to chase the player, followed by a high jump, which leaves the boss vulnerable to jump attack when it is failed to land on the player. He will use this pattern for the rest of his turns.
Strategy
When the boss gets vulnerable after huge jump, jump on the boss - jumping on the blob will eliminate the blob but it will not affect on the boss. After 3 hits, the boss will get defeated. There is always a Double Cherry inside the blob, which comes out after the boss gets vulnerable.
