Inaccuracy[edit]

I have never seen this video, but summary is wrong. The video is not Chinese - the voice actor is obviously Japanese and the box uses Japanese phonetic script. Neither of these would be true if the video was Chinese.

Moreover, there are no "Chinese letters," as the wiki first mentioned them. They are characters. It's probably an educational video for Japanese children to teach them Chinese characters, 2,000 of which are used in contemporary Japanese.

Your probably right and it makes more sense that Mario would be in Japanese movie than a Chinese movie. Go ahead, change it.Knife (talk) 15:34, 16 December 2007 (EST)

Full Video at YouTube[edit]

The full video has appeared at YouTube (both the Mario and Kirby segment). It is not translated to English, but thanks to the pictures it is easy to understand for the most time. --Grandy02 21:30, 25 July 2010 (UTC)

Kirby Segment[edit]

Now that the video is at YouTube, it would be possible to summarise the plot (most can be done even without knowing Japanese). But what about the Kirby segment? The story doesn't have any relation to Mario's, should it be covered or should the section be removed from the article? --Grandy02 15:32, 26 July 2010 (UTC)

I would say yes, because... well, think about it like the second and third-party characters in Super Smash Bros. They aren't related to Mario, but we still have an article for each of them. Hello, I'm Time Turner.
The characters at least interact with each other in Smash Bros. However, in that video, the two stories are completely unrelated (other than that they are on the same tape and are narrated by the same person). --Grandy02 14:49, 10 August 2010 (UTC)
Well... geez, what a predicament we have here. Since they're on the same tape, I think we should cover, even if it has nothing to do with the Mario segment. Hello, I'm Time Turner.

Actually, I don't think we need to cover the Kirby section. Just like we don't cover the animated Zelda episodes despite sharing a 30 minute timeslot with the old Mario cartoons.--Knife (talk) 18:00, 22 August 2010 (UTC)

Knife has a point. The Zelda episodes aired alongside Mario live-action segments, yet we only cover the latter. --Grandy02 21:31, 22 August 2010 (UTC)
Actually... Hello, I'm Time Turner.

I have a suggestion. Let's cover the Mario segment here, Kirby segment on WiKirby, and Mario and Kirby segments on Wikipedia.----KoopaMan
