Lightning Saucer is an enemy from Virtual Boy Wario Land, with several appearing in Stage 11 of the game. Lightning Saucers move across the ceiling of the stage, and each one is only able to move across a certain area. If Wario walks within its range, the Lightning Saucer follows until it is above Wario. It then stops and releases a bolt of lightning that extends down to the ground, harming Wario if he touches it. They may be seen as the counterpart to the Magma Saucer, which is similar in appearance and behavior.

If the lightning bolt reaches the ground or hits an object, such as a Pan Platform and Bonfire Block, then the object or section of the floor will briefly appear shocked, and it is able to harm Wario. Flaming areas of the floor are not able to be shocked, however.

Lightning Saucers appear to be part of the background of the stage, and cannot be touched by Wario. Therefore, they cannot be defeated in any way.
