The Real McCoy is a microgame found in the IQ folder in WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgame$!. The title of the microgame is based off an idiom and metaphor which means "the real thing".

Gameplay

The objective of the game is to choose which GBA looks like the one shown in the beginning. If the player selects the correct GBA, it will be circled in red; otherwise, the rest will be crossed out in red.

  • Level 1: The player must find the correct GBA by looking at the front side.
  • Level 2: The player must find the correct GBA by looking at the back side.
  • Level 3: The player must find the correct GBA by looking at the front side again. Some of the GBAs are flipped upside-down, which may include the correct GBA.

Different colors will have different effects on the differences as well.

  • If the GBA is indigo, the buttons will be mixed up (two D-pads on either side, two pairs of buttons on either side, or the D-pad and buttons swapped). In Level 2, buttons may be on the back.
  • If the GBA is pink, the screen may be narrower, be upside-down, or have two logos. In Level 2, the screen or the buttons may be on the back.
  • If the GBA is orange, the buttons will be modified (one button, four buttons, or the D-pad rotated 45 degrees). In Level 2, the back will be modified.

Counting the correct GBAs and each side separately, there are a total of 24 different forms.
