Hello there, 'Shroom readers! The paper's green... It's beautiful and we're not all in danger of becoming popsicles anymore, probably. Sorry Pitohui.
First of all this month, I'd like to officially welcome our two new staffers! Technetium (talk) has joined us as a co-manager of The 'Shroom Spotlight and will be assisting RHG with that starting in this very issue! We've also managed to pull Ninja Squid (talk) away from his totally harmless projects down in the basement to take the reins as our new Design Manager! They've already been doing great work these past few weeks and I'm very pleased to have them on board.
Also coming up very soon, 'Shroomfest will be returning next month! It's been a hot minute since the last one (June 2022!) so we figured it was about time to pull it back out and give it another shot. For those of you unfamiliar with 'Shroomfest, it's an event on the forums where community members debate over which team is superior and make fun posts in support of their chosen side. More specific details will be included with the event page next month. I won't spoil the theme just yet, but dust off your favorite pieces of media because you might need them!
Lastly, we're working on getting a proper dark mode theme for the paper! Previously, this was handled automatically, causing an awkward mix of "that looks cool" and "MY EYES". Now that dark mode is more accessible on the wiki, we figured it was time to make one ourselves. We're still in the early stages of working on it, so please continue to provide your feedback!

Happy March everyone! Well, it might be too late to celebrate that - we're already halfway through the month. Still thought I'd bring that up though.
Anyways, the Switch 2 Nintendo Direct is right around the corner! Oh my gosh that's exciting; I can hardly contain myself! Also, happy 10th anniversary to MAR10 Day! Did you celebrate it? Let's not get too sidetracked now! I have some 'Shroom and community related announcements!
Firstly, congratulations to Paper Plumm (talk) on becoming the Poll Committee Chairperson! I love to see such enthusiasm from a new face; I just know she'll provide the leadership for an excellent 15th Poll Committee! Check out what Paper Plumm'll be doing in the Poll Chairperson Address where she tells of her plans for the committee! Secondly, I have a new Strategy Wing section that'll teach ya how to beat the big bad bosses of Mario & Luigi: Brothership! The game is still fairly recent so be aware of spoilers. Thirdly, check out ClawgripFan9001's Fake News guest section, Hot Records, where he continues his Waluigi tribute! It's a 'Shroom issue you don't wanna miss!
