- Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games was released in Japan for the Wii version on November 5, 2009.
- The Cookie Jar Group launched Jaroo.com, a video-streaming website for many of their television series on November 3, 2009. The first five episodes of The Super Mario Bros. Super Show! are currently available for viewing, with a new episode to be added every Tuesday.
- Nintendo confirmed the release of the Nintendo DSi XL (pictured), a DSi with increased screen size aimed for older people, for November 21, 2009 in Japan. It will be released in Europe and America in 2010's first quarter.
